The Society for the Advancement of Information Systems welcomes all faculty and practitioners interested in the application of computer technologies to business problems.

• The society's annual conference is held each March in Chicago at the Drake Hotel, to coincide with the annual MBAA International conference.
• Both Information Systems and Quantitative Methods researchers participate.
• Double blind refereed papers are presented and published in the conference proceedings.
• One paper is selected each year as the winner of the annual Distinguished Paper award.
